You should always judge a book by it's cover

I've recently started reviewing books for Novel Publicity as many of you who visit here regularly would already know. Read that as free e-books to review, so why wouldn't I?

When they started advertising for reviewers for The Sullivan's series I ignored the emails, after all I figured there was no way I wanted to read a book about The Sullivans, let alone seven books about them.
Note: The Sullivans which I knew and hated was based on my Australian upbringing where the Sullivans was an Australian drama television series produced by Crawford Productions which ran from 1976 until 1983. The series told the story of an average middle-class Melbourne family and the effect World War 2 had on their lives.
Many of my Aussie readers would agree - those Sullivan's were as boring as batshit!

Then by chance I read one of the blurbs about these books and saw a cover, then I realised I should always judge a book by it's cover. Bella Andre's Sullivan's are much sexier and much more entertaining than the Australian Sullivan's of the 70's. No comparison really when you actually look.

I love this series, and while I may have only just begun reading - it's awesome to know that there's another 6 books to go. The best thing is that it doesn't matter what order you read them in either - they're all stand alone books. Details of the amazing 2 week book tour and prizes are all below. That's okay, you can thank me later.
